Library Tool # 1

There are a multitude of different tools out there to use within the library to make life much easier. I mean why reinvent the wheel when its already rolling!

So I have decided to share a few tools that have helped me to select books, organize books, and decorate my library.

TOOL # 1: 

Good Reads is a website that allows a community of readers to share their own personal digital library of books. I love this site for multiple reasons and here are just a few:

1. I can keep track of books that I want to read. How many of us have made a list of books either on a sticky note, in a journal or on the computer? And how many of those lists have been lost or forgotten? This site allows you to track books that you want to read, are reading and have read. It is a wonderful book tracker!
2. Sharing is caring! Good Reads allows you to add friends to your own personal community. When someone updates their lists, you get a notification as to what they are reading or have read. It is a great way to find new titles that you may not have known about. Also, you can create a list of titles or view lists that others have created. This is a fantastic way to find out about new titles! 
3. Reviews, Reviews, Reviews: I am a librarian that likes to know what is in a book before it goes on my shelf. This is a great place to view everyday people's reviews on the title. Some of these reviews have been tremendously helpful when choosing my selection for my library.

This Better Be Good... Updated

Its official, one of my favorite books is hitting the big screen! (Plus book three is coming out soon...yet not soon enough) This news is geeking me out! I am super impatient and ecstatic all at the same time! But also trying not to allow myself to get too excited because let’s be honest, most books turned movies don't do the book justice.

I'm only willing to wait if the product is perfect (or at least close to it) But I'm mostly geeking out!

I'm pretty impressed with the casting and so far it looks good.
